That is why we created this workshop that will present a Building Project Roadmap that will cover the major Steps Required for Designing and Building your New Home and how to avoid the main blunders that sabotage building projects. If you follow the process, you will reduce project risk and improve project design.

In this intimate chat we will be talking about what is the best product to put on your windows considering all aspects, insulation, sun damage and a design aesthetics, because let’s face it, we still want it to look beautiful. Please bring in your plans of your home or just some photos of the area and I can help you make the best decisions keeping all these elements in mind.

2.00pm             Furniture Placement and Styling

Understanding where furniture is to be placed in a new build at the planning process is a very important part of a home design. Knowing how a particular sofa is going to fit in a space and being aware of spacial planning is an integral part of this process. Understanding your furniture placement early in the planning process can help you from buying unnecessary items. Planning your room or home is imperative. Let’s have a chat and I’m sure I will be able to assist you. And let's not forget the finishing touches; styling up a room is definitely something that creates a great feeling. I will give you a few tips and demonstration's on styling for your home, keeping in mind the practical side of life. If you’re building a new home, this workshop could help you from making some fundamental mistakes. I will go through a few areas people forget to think about when they are planning and designing their home. The process of building a home can be a very stressful experience, but with a little bit of knowledge and insight I can make the experience a little more enjoyable. Bring as many questions you like and your building plans so we can discuss things, I will be having a very interactive workshop so I’m sure you will love it.

10.30am           Picking the Right Paint for the Job 

Painting a home can be a daunting experience so picking a colour can be overwhelming. In this little workshop we discuss paint colour choices and also which paint type to use for all areas including interior and exterior. We will also discuss using some other colours not only white, but also understanding the varied differences between white. I will be happy to answer any questions you have. So be sure to bring in any images and inspiration images you have so we can come up with a great scheme for you.
